CE Futbol Salou is becoming known worldwide, both for the practice of camps as well as for specialised training and football matches. Since last week, several Japanese teams from U11 – U16 categories, have chosen the sports facilities to be the setting for their training days.
During the last week of March, the F7 Tokyo boys U12 Team, formed by 23 people, made their camp on the Costa Daurada to train in the CE Futbol Salou. This team has had the opportunity to face local teams of the same category such as the Nàstic Alevín A and the Reus Deportiu Alevín A. During their their camp they have stayed in the facilities of Cambrils Park Sport Village, which are situated 500 meters from the football pitches and to which you can accede walking, by bicycle facilitated by the same Resort or with bus transfer.
As the Tokyo F7 Team is leaving, this week it is the Yokohama Shoot Junior team's turn, which belongs in the male cadet category. The whole team, made up of 25 people, is also staying in the Sport Village. Yokohama have played friendly matches against local teams such as Nàstic Cadet B and Reus Cadet B.
Toripletta, another Japanese U14 team have also played on the same pitches, with matches against Reus Infantil A.
All the teams played on artificial turf and have supplemented their football through excursions to learn more about the region and its culture.
